Our Story & Mission

Hello and welcome to Lilies of Faith! My name is Jomela, and I am the proud owner, founder, and CEO of this faith-centered brand. The journey that led to the creation of Lilies of Faith has been one shaped by God’s grace and guidance. Our team is united in the mission to share the good news and the love of Jesus with the world. By the Lord’s providence, I was able to attend college, where I discovered my love for graphic design. It was here that I first realized the power of visual art to tell stories, inspire, and connect with people on a deeper level. As I grew in my craft, I felt a deep calling to use my skills to create something that would not only be beautiful but would, most importantly, glorify the Lord. This passion led me to design apparel that encourages faith and empowers believers to wear their belief with boldness. Every piece serves as a reminder of the love and hope we have in Christ.

I was raised in a God-fearing home, but it wasn’t until the passing of my mother that I grew even closer to the Lord. In 2018, I gave my life to Jesus, and it has forever changed me. God placed a deep desire in my heart to create something that would encourage others in their walk with Him, something that would help Christians share their faith and spread the good news of Jesus.

Lilies of Faith is a reflection of what God has done in my life. Our brand voice is Christ-centered, empowering, and encouraging. We are dedicated to sharing biblical truths, inspired by Christ, and spreading the good news of the gospel with the world. I want to help others know who Jesus truly is, what He has done for them, and how His love transforms lives.

As an introvert who has struggled with being open and stepping outside my comfort zone, I’ve found that Lilies of Faith is a powerful way to encourage, evangelize, and help others, especially those who may find it difficult to share their faith. It’s also a way to help Christians share the love of Jesus with others, even if they struggle to speak up.

Why the name Lilies of Faith?

There was a time when I was feeling anxious and worrying about what was next. I was in the middle of searching for a home and seeking clarity about where the Lord was leading me. One day, as I was driving and worshiping, the Lord led me to one of the highest points in the area, a place where I could see the fullness of His creation. As I looked out over the trees, the hills, and everything He made, I felt His presence so deeply.

In that moment, the Lord reminded me of Matthew 6:26-29, where Jesus says:

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not of more value than they?
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

As I stood there surrounded by the beauty of His creation, the Holy Spirit gently spoke to my heart, If I take care of all of this, how much more will I care for you? It was such a comforting and powerful reminder not to worry, and to trust fully in His provision and timing.

Soon after, as I continued praying about a name for this brand, a close friend reminded me of that same verse: "the lilies and how they grow, not toiling or spinning, yet God clothes them in beauty." That moment felt like confirmation from the Lord. It all came together, the reminder not to be anxious, the call to trust, and the vision to create something rooted in faith.

That’s how Lilies of Faith was born: as a personal reminder of God’s care, and as a way to encourage others to trust Him too. Just like the lilies, we are tended to by a faithful God, and we can live boldly in the assurance that He sees us, He values us, and He will provide.

Lilies of Faith represents the beauty of new life and the hope we find in Jesus Christ. Just as the lilies in the field grow by God’s grace, we, too, have been reborn through Him and made wonderfully and beautifully in His image. Because of Jesus, we have been saved, made pure, and granted access to God’s holy presence.

Our mission is to remind Christians of Jesus’ everlasting love and spread His love to the world. We want everyone to know that because of our Savior, there is hope for us all. Our purpose is to boldly share the gospel and encourage fellow believers to live with faith, knowing that God’s love is unchanging and abundant.

Lilies of Faith is inspired by Matthew 6:28, where Jesus says,

"And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

This verse is a powerful reminder of God's provision and care, encouraging us to trust in Him without worry. Just as the lilies thrive in His grace, so too are we called to live in faith, embrace His love, and share that love with others.

We aim to help you share His love, encourage others, and remind the world of the beauty and power of the gospel. Like the lilies, we are clothed in God's grace and, by seeking His kingdom first, we know He will provide all that we need.
